I am an African

I was watching Mean Girls  and that part in the movie where Karen asks Cady why shes white if shes from Africa reminded me of the ignorant comments made by some of the people who watched the 'Whip My Hair South African Style' Youtube Video. Do people from other contents really think that we ride on elephants;hunt for our food and rub sticks together for fire?

I will conceed that as a continent we have our fair share of problems ( HIV/AIDS, Malaria, starvation..) but we also get MTV here. We have cars and movies ( Nollywood). I think people would be surprised how much American culture has influenced Africans. Educate yourself. I dont want to generalise because Im sure not all people from other continents think like that.
